Small lively square in La Candelaria with plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars around.

Mercado de La Concordia

Nice historic market which was destroyed by a fire years ago and been rebuild properly. Fruits, souvenirs and authentic lunch. Try the fruit juices of Gloria!

Mercado La Perseverancia

According to Netflix and its own statement, the best Ajiaco in town. We can't confirm but liked it, and the place is authentic and beautiful for having lunch.

Museo del Oro

Nice museum giving an insight in Colombias pre-hispanic stunning goldsmith's art.

Monserrate

One of Bogotá's must-sees. After approximately 500 m in altitude to walk, you reach an old Sanctuary and a beautiful view over Bogotá. If you don't want to walk, take the cablecar.

Free Walking Food Tour

Booked at Granada Hostel, our guide Elvira picked us up there and stuffed our stomachs for 4 hours with Colombia's delicious food.

What an experience! Something between restaurant, bar, circus, dance show and live music. A place you HAVE TO visit. Make a reservation in advance!

Cozy restaurant in a very old building. Breakfast is ok, dinner is very good Usually with life music at night.

Mike showed us places in Bogotá by bike, we wouldn't have found by ourselves. Includes fruit market, street art and history of Colombia.

Museo Botero

Museum showing Fernando Botero's works of art. As one of Colombia's most famous artists, he mainly painted fat people, horses, ... Nice to see and good for one's self esteem.
