Cali, the city were we’ll finally meet our third companion Mozart. We arrived at the beautiful Santa Theresita Loft with its extraordinary owner Elena, who immediately welcomes us with her open and genuine nature. She showed us around in her little neighbourhood which is only some car minutes away from the lively old center San Antonio.
We enjoyed some really delicious food at the near by bakery Baraka where we stopped for a bite several times.
The next day was finally time to say hello to Magali, Baptiste and Mozart who picked us up at our apartment for a first introduction. We immediately got along amazingly and spending the next days together was an absolute pleasure. We really enjoyed our time with this amazing couple France / Brittany (apparently a state in a state ;)) and hope to meet them again wherever possible.
From eating more delicious food to overcome some bureaucratic hurdles and experience the tremendous kindness of the Caleños in this green, vibrant city, we nearly got the whole Cali-package. Nearly, because Cali is especially famous for its Salsa culture (our friend Sophie got stuck here for about half a year dancing), but we didn't get our butts up to do it. Seems we'll have to put ourselves in detention in Medellin.
