We arrived in Salento in so called Zona Cafetera (so far Patrick's favorite region in Colombia) on the evening of 31st of May and got an amazing warm welcome from José at Finca Cardonales, beautifully located right above Salento but within a 10 minutes walk to the village. After getting Mozart's 'casita' (its camper cabin) somehow sorted and start plans for its renovation, we sent him into a preventive medical check-up. While he's getting his guts revised, we finally have time to organise some stuff, updating this blog, enjoying the stay at our Finca and Salento's culinary landscape.
We are currently kinda stuck in the Zona Cafetera. Once we'll get Mozart back from the workshop, we will still renovate his casita's interior. That means we most likely won't add any kilometres before end of next week. Anyway, we love our new project upgrading Mozart for the real beginning of our journey and are looking forward to finally start going further north towards Colombia's Caribbean coast.
